Here at Ópalo, we want you to get the most out of your hair extensions and be able to get exactly the hair you deserve. To make things easier we have simplified quantities. Typically the signature weft comes in 20g strips which while making it great to mix and match, can be confusing for you to know how many strips you will need. If you have fine hair its important to remember you can’t necessarily have the longest thickest hair without damaging your own hair.

If you are unsure about your hair or are suffering from hair loss please do not hesitate to contact our colour match service and we can answer any of your questions. Firstly for thickness not length you may only want 1 row of weft which would be the HALF HEAD option when purchasing. Then if you want to also add length you would need the FULL HEAD. We’ve also given the option to add as many extra 20g as you like to give more volume or bluntness to the ends of your hair. Another great thing about the EXTRA 20g is you can choose a different colour to mix in. Wether you’re a brunette wanting to add a sun kissed, subtle lighter tone or you’re a blonde wanting a pop of brighter blonde the combinations are endless. Now, lets talk tapes. When it comes to tapes you can use them for any hair type. 1 pack is great to fill out the sides either with a weft or just on their own. 2 packs are good to scatter around your head if you have fine hair. 3 packs can add length and thickness, but if you have thick hair already you may need more to blend the length. 4 packs is classed as a FULL HEAD, this will give you 100g of hair. Any additional packs will add more thickness.
