Washing care

  • Use a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner.

  • Wash extensions 1-2 times per week.

  • Never let your extensions air dry.

  • When in areas with hard water, discolouration can occur. Use the Malibu C hard water remover shampoo or colour wow dream filer to prevent or rectify.

  • When swimming hair must be kept away from chlorine. If it is to come in contact wash immediately.

Heat & Brushing

  • ALWAYS use heat protection generously.

  • Reapply heat protection each time heated equipment is used.

  • Use a brush without tips on the end of the bristles, we recommend a boar bristle or denman.

  • Always brush from tip to root to avoid breakage.

Other care tips

  • Heated equipment is to be kept 180 degrees or below.

  • Curling or straightening should only be done 2-3 times per week max. As little as possible will give you a longer lifespan on your extensions.

  • Sleep with a heatless curler, plaited hair or use a satin pillow case/ bonnet.

  • Apply serum or oil daily.

  • When drying with a towel scrunch the hair instead of rubbing.

  • If you use sunbeds, cover with a bonnet.

Mask usage

  • Apply a mask 1-2 times per month.

  • 10 in 1 sprays are great for detangling and avoiding damage when wet.

  • The use of saunas for long periods of time is not recommended. If you do want to use one apply a mask to keep moisture in the hair.
